Notice Inviting Tender
Centre for Continuing Education Kerala (CCEK) invites competitive sealed tenders under two bid system from the reputed manufacturers having supply, service and maintenance tie up, for the supply of the academic machineries for the use of Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala, Vellimon west Po, Kundara, Kollam- 691511. The specifications are mentioned in the Annexure-3. The tender bids duly filled in all respect enclosing necessary documents may be addressed to Director, Centre for Continuing Education Kerala, Anathara Lane, Charachira, Kowdiar Po, Thiruvananthapuram – 695003 so as to reach on or before 30/03/2012 at 4.30pm.
The technical bid will be opened at 05.30 pm on the same day (30/03/2012) at the office of Director, Centre for Continuing Education Kerala (CCEK), Thiruvananthapuram in the presence of the tenderers who may wish to be present, either by themselves or through their authorised representatives.

Notes:

- The tenders should be superscribed tenders for the supply of lab equipments required for Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala, Kollam
- The rates quoted should be for the delivery of the item at the building of IFTK, Vellimon, Kundara, Kollam. The rate should be firm for a period of minimum 3 months.
- An EMD in Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, Centre for Continuing Education Kerala, payable at Thiruvananthapuram for an amount of Rs. 20,000/- should be attached as part of tender.
- Tenders will be opened in the presence of the authorised representatives of the firms quoted rates.
- Warranty period of the items should be mentioned in the tender for each items.
- A free service agreement duly signed by the firm in stamp paper worth Rs.100/- should also accompany the tender.
- Payment should be made immediately on receipt of the items by the Principal, IFTK, Kollam in satisfactory condition.
- Yearly rates for life long service of items after the free service period, if available may also be quoted separately.
- The item should be supplied within 15 days on receipt of firm order.
- The Director CCEK has the right to receive or reject any tender without assigning any reason.
- This office is not responsible for postal delay.
- The tenders received after the due date and without sufficient document as mentioned in this notice will be rejected.
- Any dispute under the court of law will be dealt with the courts inside the home state only
